WNCN stopped by the official “The Eye” shop who says their legal team is looking into the site.
“Scammers do an excellent job sometimes of making these sites look legitimate but there are things you can look for. If the contact page doesn’t have a phone number, an email address, a location, those are all red flags,
” said Wojciechowski.
WNCN Investigates traced the site back to a domain web host in China. It turns out it’s the same host who runs the fake NFL Shop WNCN Investigates exposed earlier this month.

The NHL is filing a lawsuit to have the site removed.
